Clusters: D/B, C/A – G/E, H/F (SIMC)
In normal adult context:
The D/B cluster here represents regression. It is a simplification, even primitivization, of thinking, ideals, even ethics, compared to what would be natural to that person. The extent to which this impact is global, or confines to certain areas and relationships in life, may differ
(The C/A cluster is the "normal" variant of this type of ideological engagement. Normal younger people, adolescents, who can be drawn into a simple, black-and-white ideology, possibly under an idealized and not infrequently psychologically immature leader/sect leader. With age, the younger person can hopefully move on. The leader often stays.)
The G/E cluster is all about progression. These are people who, with the help of an ideological, and probably social, context, are supported to function above their actual ability. The prototypical context should be a healthy, religious congregation, or a relationship with one mentor or another. It can certainly occur in treating relationships. Here you can say that the surroundings act as a "help me".
(The H/F cluster is the normal variant. Here is a large area of traditional, more or less sober spirituality or ideological commitment. Here are the vast majority of adult individuals, probably overweight in the F-category. Any form of ideological commitment or religious doctrine probably exerts a certain regressive pressure/allure, which causes many to perform something below their actual level.)
